Here at Quilting Bliss we use a professional, computerized Innova Long Arm quilting machine. These machines offer great thread control along with stitch regulation to ensure consistent stitch length throughout your quilt.

Smoother quilting surface (reduces wrinkles)

Cut your backing so that is larger than your top - 8” minimum in length and width

Decide on batting (are you using your own or one of our in-house options)

Remove all pins - unless marking a top or center

Check that your top is it ready for quilting (are creases pressed and extra threads trimmed?)

Are you picking thread and quilting patterns, or are you leaving that up to Quilting Bliss?

Are you doing your own binding? If not, let us know, and be sure to include extra fabric

Often we start with the colors of the room it’s for or a pattern you want and we work with you from there. It can be as easy as finding a picture online you like and we recreate it to fit your bed or the occasion.

Some quilt tops are handed down before they are assembled or finished, I can take those pieces and finish the top, and then quilt and bind for you

All my bindings (the outermost edge of a quilt - that protects the 3 layers) are done by hand, providing the most beautiful way to finish a quilt top.

Sometimes if an old quilt has been ruined, or is no longer in good enough shape to use, I will find fabric to make a close replica to the original that is a new, useable quilt

I can do hand embroidery work repair, as well as create labels for your quilts
